Baby Kokeshis

I found this project in a Mary Engelbreit Home Companion magazine a couple years ago and fell in love. I've always wanted to make my own, but never got around to it! Finally, here they are, and I love them! It's soo super easy, and such a delicious looking delight!

For my 5 Pay It Forwards, this is what they got in the mail!! Home-made strawberries (with jingle bells inside!), some candies and gum, and a baby Kokeshi doll! I wrapped em in cupcake papers, in a matchbox with vintage wrapping paper glued to the outside and finished with a bright orange yarn bow! So easy and so fun to do!

Thanks to those of you who played Pay It Forward, thanks to those of you who have visited my blog and left feedback and insight! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Did you know that when you shake the strawberry chime she comes alive? Very clever Brandi, you must be MAGIC!

She was waiting for me on the doorstep on Saturday and now she guards her strawberry on my bookshelf. While in the travel-box she had eaten the bubblegum and now is concerned it will stay in her stomach for 100 years!

Thanks for the love :)
