Blog Days

Okay, people. This has to happen. Kick backs, comments, feedback, no lurking. I'm going blind and dizzy looking up blogs, getting side-tracked, leaving comments, finding new blogs, following 8 million, taking up half a day online. This is ridiculous, and I've had a head ache for two days. Why? I found a girl who put this up, and it seems to be true. Are you shy? Are you annonymous? Who are you? Why so quiet?

"an average of 90% of a blog's readers are lurkers. Then 9% of the remaining contribute little to the blog. That leaves 1% who are active commenters."

Today's inspiration, a junkyard of sorts. Vintage Children's Books, Eye Refreshments and hopefully some Sabotage.

HERE I've found a girl who is 100% awesome, and 80% fly. Look at her blog, and be happy she's alive. Leave her a comment, if you love it. Leave her a comment if you hate it. Tell her something, anything.

Thank you ladies (and some men!) that leave me some love, you're always gracious and appreciated!!

I'm off to take a tylenol and go ber-ZERK. I'm feeling very berzerkish right now, and I can't control myself. I'm out of control....

I love your berzerk-ness! I am not a very 'commenty' type girl as I tend to type and erase comments about 7 times before I actually post something. But...hello! I love your work and your inspirations are inspiration for me as well so BLOG ON BRANDI.

I know exactly how that feels to be sitting in front of the computer following blog link after blog link (even with a headache). Some how I get sucked into it every weekend! Keep up the posts though, we all <3 you :)

I am so glad to hear I am not the only one who lets herself get side-tracked and takes up half a day online! Yeah... I'm not alone! I try to set a time limit, but I almost always fly right past it. ;)

thanks for stopping by my blog. you are right not many people leave comments, and sometimes it feels like you are doing a show for an empty stadium. it is always nice to get a surprise comment from someone only to trace it back to a really great blog!! great stuff here very inspirational!

oh, I simply adore all the vintage illustrations!
Thanks so much for your sweet comment. Gosh, I had no idea so many people are lurkers. I admit I too have often been side-tracked by the endless wonderful blogs out there. I love commenting :) How else can we connect with fellow bloggers?

I used to do a podcast and while 5,000 people would download each episode.. I would only get 1 or 2 comments. As soon as I stopped doing the podcast, I got hundreds of replies. It's hard to post something and not get a reaction... but know we are here. I will TRY to post more, I love what you are doing with the blog.

YAY! I'm so glad you liked the blog :) I knew you would. Isn't it just adorable! Toothpaste baths are the best, hehe, and so is their super tiny little sandbox! <3

I Truly love your blog and I try not to be so much of a lurker and try to leave a comment on every blog I visit. I also am very shy. I don't really start a conversation. I will talk to someone if they talk to me first. I am always worried about what people think. I just started my blog to get my work out there more. I sell on ebay and thats about it. I spend wayyyyy too much time blog jumping. So I am glad Im not alone!!!
