I Love Me Some Travis Lampe

Jimmeny Christmas!! This person blows my mind..TRAVIS LAMPE'S work is endless, ridiculous. For those of you who haven't been introduced to his creations, allow me...

Can you see why I am obsessed? Wait, there's more...

Here are my prints from Gallery 1988 San Fran that overlook my work table. These were the first pieces of his to enter my home only about a year ago? Sorry for the crumby shot! FIND THEM HERE if you're down.

THIS is an original painting, by the man they call "The Painter Of Sad" (or they should), and it belongs to me. It's mines.

Travis is unbelievable ~ funny, generous, and sad. Happy? Sad. He's wonderful anyway. I just got a box of this:

Travis' Tear Drips Series kicks some serious butt if you ask me!! I picked these up from the post office today, ripped em open to see that he had inscribed each box especially for me! He's so freakin rad! They are available thru his website as well RIGHT HERE!!

His lastest and greatest collection of work called "Best Loved Tales Of Misery And Woe" is featured HEREat Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle. It's chalk FULL of exciting plush creations along with his exquisite paintings of woe. Find all the images HERE and be blown to smitherenes! (Did I spell that rite?) Go drool now.

(When this happened, I died a little bit.)

Have you the biggest crush on his world yet? Do it. He's amazing.

Oh my! He's so...sad!
Somehow he reminds me of Hieronymus Bosch. Is that too far of a stretch?

Thanks for visiting my blog, I love your stuff too! I look forward to getting to know it a little bit more.
