Music In My Mind

I know, I know, I'm the laziest blogger!! But I'm SORRY, and I feel bad. I seem to get swept away in real life, and hardly have time to stop in and say something fun! I end up just throwing images in your face and running away!! (which- maybe that's a good thing?)

In any case, I still love you people, and doing this blog. Will I try to be better? Maybe. Here's a sneak peek at the new piece I did for the upcoming Lyric show in Michigan at 323 East Gallery. It's an album cover, of music in my mind ~ spooky, weird and silly.

(I'm so excited by the line up...)

I hope all is well out there, and til next time, know I'm working but thinking of you!

You Say It's Your Birthday, It's My Birthday Too Yeah!!

image from Daily Dujour

This past weekend was the opening of In The Nursery, the latest installment at the Corey Helford Gallery. My painting "White Fawn Sugar Scape" rests there with all the others, and what a show it was!!

The night was filled with such sweet sweet pleasures, from such sweet sweet I reluctantly slipped into my 35th year on this earth. A gift from my darlin' Lola, thee cutest set of darlin' ditties my eyes have seen! She's the flea's knees AND the fat's pajamas...

The show looked so good, and all the girls did too ~ go see the show yourself online or in person before it comes down February 9th!!!

{A Bubbly B Cupcake necklace from Natalia to her Bumpkin Love...yay!!}

{mmmmmm~thank you sunshine!}

Then it was on to Vegas in the morning with the Corey Helford crew to celebrate Jan Helford's birthday~~~~what a world, what a world!!

{I love you Jan Helford!}

It was quite the dizzying night ~ running from one place to the next {as one does in Vegas}, but cozy and warm in our "Painted Ladies" gang jackets for Jan.

Now it's back to work for me. Working on some super secret ~ super exciting projects on my own. I gotta keep the whip crackin!!

{PS. I love you Jan Helford!!}
